Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp

Located in Chiang Saen, Thailand, Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort tops my list to visit.

The Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp is the best sanctuary in Chiang Mai. The camp doesn’t own any elephants, instead they partner with local mahouts (elephant riders) around the area to provide superb care for their animals. This arrangement allows free movement of the elephants throughout the jungle, something a lot of other sanctuaries just don’t do.

This stunning property has it all. Even from the VIP arrival, private car to Chaing Saen and then a long tail boat on the Mekong river to the hotel property, being welcomed by a heard of gentile giants. The morning wake up call with an elephant walk out to the paddy fields for a morning yoga session. Have lunch in the jungle with your gourmet picnic basket while the elephants enjoy their afternoon snack near by. An evening hike to a local hilltop where you can see the sunset over three countries. Elephant polo anyone?

There are now even Jungle Bubbles where you can spend an unforgettable night observing Thailand’s majestic elephants in their natural habitat from the comfort of your very own, fully furnished, transparent Jungle Bubble. Set on a wooden deck above the forest, your luxurious bubble will offer you uninterrupted views of these gentle giants, as well as the stunning starlit sky above!

Even Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort’s spa is special with the menu drawing on techniques from centuries of northern wellness traditions, as well as indigenous and medicinal ingredients.

Their wedding package sounds amazing with Bride and groom elephant processions to start and end ceremony and an option for a Monks’ ceremony. I can’t even imagine how beautiful that would be!

With an unforgettable term, “YOLO”, the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp is so luxury that its price tag has set a record for being the most expensive hotel in the area at over $2,000 per night. So brace yourselves because you’ll be super pampered and indulged by every inch of the luxurious services from the time when you arrive to your final departure.

I cannot say more about this property without jumping on a plane to Thailand now so just going to end this here. Click here to check out some great complimentary upgrades!
